Bakepres (pseudo name) is a leading supplier of high-quality barbecues, shelters, table settings, park seats, benches, urban greening, module park furniture, and fitness equipment for parks and platforms, among other park furniture. They used Ostendo to manage their back-office operations and HubSpot for their CRM needs. However, they needed help to get the desired data synchronization between these platforms to use the best of both.
Computan integration developers proposed a bidirectional data sync between the two platforms. They utilized Laravel-based middleware, which made both tools understand the data in the language they spoke.
Customers in Ostendo were mapped and synced as companies in HubSpot. This involved extracting customer data from Ostendo, transforming it into a compatible format using Ostendo API, and sending it to Laravel Middleware before it reaches HubSpot using the HubSpot API.
Contacts, products, and deals in Ostendo were similarly mapped and synced to HubSpot.
Associations among companies, contacts, and deals were created to maintain these entities' relationships.
The same objects and their associations were synced back to Ostendo because the client wanted updated data on both platforms.
The integration significantly improved Bakepres's data management and operational efficiency. It ensured data consistency across HubSpot and Ostendo, saved time, and reduced manual data entry efforts.
